Pastor Pinckney eventually became an unaffiliated voter until the realization struck him that as a Christian, he should make a decision to be either “hot or cold, but not lukewarm”. Either stand for Christ or not. 

As an unaffiliated voter he could vote for a Democrat or Republican. However, as a Christian adhering to the Word of his Lord, he cannot support the Democratic Party and its endorsements of killing babies in their mother’s womb, nor could he support their promotion of the LGBTQ+ lifestyle, nor open borders, nor the continuous enslavement of his people and others through the Democratic Party welfare ideologies!

So, he decided to stand for Christ and wrote “8 Reasons Why I am No Longer a Democrat” with the hope that his awakening may help others."
